Apparently when MoP dropped, the guards had all eaten their Wheeties. Well, recently I decided to try again but was hindered by a lack of gear to be able to kill the Booty Bay guards. This didn’t help either and eventually I gave up. So I began raising the rep with the Steamwheedle Cartel back to exalted incase I had missed one of them before.
I had submitted a ticket and the gm at the time had not divulged any information of which part I was missing. At the time I was unsure whether or not there was a required “order” for obtaining the rep. He did reach Honored with them, I am certain of it now. I had done everything and was killing Booty Bay guards for the rep with the Bloodsail Buccaneers. A few years ago, I believe before Cataclysm dropped, I was working on the insane title. He’s still chasing that elusive head piece he needs to complete his Sunwell Plateau transmog set. I guess we can’t have our cake and eat it too.Ĭloggie hasn’t done a lot recently with all the work required to level my baby rogue to 80 as fast as possible. It’s nice to run with heirlooms but it’s always a little disheartening to loot an item from a boss that you end up vendoring because you have an heirloom in that slot. It was a lot of fun and I looted 3 epic level 60 pieces which coincidentally are pieces which use slots that you can’t buy heirlooms for. Flogalis is level 62 now, only 18 levels to go! I had the pleasure of being ran through Upper Black Rock Spire a few times and Molten Core by Leeta. It seems no matter how big your bags, they are never big enough. So now you can find Flogalis running around the world with 104 slots of junk instead of 30. I think it took me about a week all up, but I got there in the end and sent 4 embersilk bags to each HotT member including my baby rogue. So I was crafting the cheapest cloth items from embersilk and disenchanting them. The only draw back here was they didn’t drop a lot of green items like Grim Batol, which I needed to disenchant for hypnotic dust. Each group I killed I was picking up 1 stack of embersilk cloth. A few days of this and I stumbled upon an area in the open world of Twilight Highlands where you pull a bunch of mobs at once and the respawn rate was fast. It was a daunting process but I persisted. I started out running Grim Batol and with each run I was averaging enough matts for one bag. A quick google search for embersilk cloth drop locations and I was soon off to Twilight Highlands killing mobs and looting.
So, I decided to jump on my level 90 cloth making extraordinaire alt Tennish and craft some bags for us. Some of the other team members seemed to be busy organizing materials for enchants, glyphs and the like but I was unsure how I could contribute. While leveling my baby rogue Flogalis for the HotT team it didn’t take long for my teeny bags to fill up with junk.
