So easy, right?! Even for all the “non-bakers” out there, these are within reach. Once the red streaks had hardened, they were done. I cut a tiny hole in the corner of the bag and piped the red around and down each eyeball. The red streaks were just made from red Candy Melts. If a hole was left where the toothpick had been I just dapped a little extra chocolate onto it to cover.īefore the chocolate coating had hardened I added a little sugar eyeball to the top. Then I slid the coated ball onto a sheet of waxed paper. I gave it a quick tap or two to release any excess chocolate. Once the balls were nice and firm (from getting a chill in the freezer) I stuck on with a toothpick then dipped it into the white chocolate. Here’s how I assembled these fun peanut butter eyeballs. If you’d prefer, you could use regular white chocolate in place of white candy melts. I used Candy Melts because they harden quickly and very hard. I stuck the smooth peanut butter balls in the freezer while I gathered the rest of the supplies. You can find one here if you’re interested. I used a super tiny scoop to keep them consistent. Once they were mixed I formed the peanut butter “dough” into balls. IT’S SO EASY! With only 4 ingredients (3 if you consider the peanut ingredients as 1 😉 ): butter, peanut butter, ground peanuts, and powdered sugar, you can’t go wrong. Whether you enjoy them yourself or take them as a fun Halloween party treat, you’re sure to bring the spook to the party!
